Nolle had a week of vacation at Lake Constance. Of course we had to choose the foggiest morning that there has ever been in the month of May. According to my experience, the fog usually dissapates by 8am at the latest. In the best case, half an hour before the sun breaks through, it creates the most magnificent light effects. Not this time. The clouds were not willing to budge. By the time we had decided to give up at this location for today and get in the car to drive further up above the fog it of course wasn´t possible anymore to create photographs free of hard shadows working without a lighting assistant.
