Misunderstandings and technical difficulties involving our communication almost got in the way of the shooting. But thanks to my colleague Stefan Söll, we managed it.

Zoi is a fantastic model. Despite her presence in the media, her impressive professionality and the high level of her skill, she was amazingly natural and down-to-earth. I wanted to pick up a future playmate at the train station. The only people getting out of the train were a handful of commuters and tourists and a unremarkable young woman wearing baggy clothes, with messy hair and a huge suitcase. I almost walked past her. Just about 45 mins later I had a real topmodel in front of my lens. Wow!

I must admitt, I have never had such an easy shooting. No need to explain poses, great facial expression, her look is perfect. As her photographer, there isn’t much you can do wrong. Only her Scottish accent takes some getting used to, even for a Scotland fan like myself. To compensate, we found a lot to talk about during the short breaks about her native country . I  bet, this won’t be our only shooting together.
