GRACE AND GRANITE

There is a secret place, deep in the dark fir tree forests of the mythical Black Forest. A place with hugh rocks, jumbled upon each other like being the playground of mountain giants. Well, to be honest, this magical spot is by far better known than I would like to make you believe, in fact its a famous destinantion for hikers walking the long distance path »Westweg«. But nevertheless its a beautiful chaos of rounded granit boulders in a fairytale like forest and hence a perfect location for photo shoots. I found it several years ago – might be twenty or so years ago – and I came back once in a while. Usually its not very crowded in spring and autumn. Although the location is not very spacious, to be precise it’s a rather small area, it is intersting to see the different ways each model is using and interpreting the scene as her personal theatre stage and to backtrace the development of my own skills over the years as well.
