According to the British Cartographic Society, the coastline of Great Britain measures around 31,000 kilometers, including small and large islands. I don’t know how many kilometers we drove between Dover and Durness, Land’s End and Kirkwall over the years. I guess it wouldn’t have been much less to reach the most remote corners.
