HINTERLAND

Despite all the temptations of the lake, I am often drawn away from the shore to capture the true soul of the Lake Constance region. This gallery pays homage to the extras of the blockbuster Bodensee. Telegraph lines in wide fields, tree lined roads through reed meadows,
banks of fog in forests, small waterfalls in rarely visited ravines, a chapel under a mighty linden tree, an unadorned chapel on the way. It is precisely these motifs that we otherwise pass carelessly that are brought into focus here for once.
