ZUGVÖGEL (MIGRATING BIRDS)

Fast moving objects and long exposure tend to get along rather poorly and a combination of both genres usually results in very abstract results – which I really like (just to mention). Despite my focus on long to very long exposure times, I have been tempted to choose short exposure times in various studies of birds. Not everyt attempt is a succees. And I produce a lot of scrap by my standards. It’s “learning by doing”!
But I would say that there isn’t much that can compete with the grace of birds in the sky. Even large birds, like the cranes on the Baltic Sea, look wonderfully light, with even dancers being caught. I admit that on these photo tours I sometimes forget to take pictures and just watch with fascination – and maybe I’m a bit jealous too. This is certainly a project for the future.
